To celebrate 15 years of José Pizarro on Bermondsey Street and 50 years of London Glassblowing, acclaimed chef José Pizarro and renowned glass artist Peter Layton have come together to create 30 limited-edition glass platters.
Designed by Peter Layton and handmade by Layne Rowe in collaboration with José Pizarro, each piece celebrates the craftsmanship, creativity and enduring friendship that have shaped Bermondsey Street over the years.
Drawing inspiration from the warm colour palette of Lolo, José’s latest restaurant and third opening on Bermondsey Street, the platter is a striking centrepiece that brings together art, food and design.
Each platter is individually handmade using the freeblown glass technique, making every piece unique.
