With a history dating back to 1840 when the first vineyards were planted on the Hacienda Pradolagar estate the name Marques de Vargas is synonymous with a devotion to cultivating and marketing some of the finest Rioja wines.

Region, grape variety and technical information: Manuel harvesting with grape bunches entered into refrigeration chambers within minutes of being picked to retain the quality of the fruit. A blend of 70% Tempanillo, 13% Garnacha and 17% Mazuelo aged in French oak for 23 months showcases the best of La Rioja at fantastic value.
